It has come to my attention that there are some who are approaching manufacturers or vendors using my name as an “in”, either by saying they are a friend or implying I have approved of my name being used.
I’d like to state I have never given approval for my name to be used by anyone as some form of introduction. Nor do I endorse any such approaches; name dropping to feather one’s own nest is definitely something I don’t endorse.
If anyone is contacted by individuals claiming they have me blessing I would appreciate you check with me before granting any favours, thank you.
